Graphics was a good unit and it was quiet fun unit. this course could be applied to many different things from making birthday cards to invitations anything that you would want to modify a picture. You could also make logo’s for company's with the skills learned. Scott Larson
I thought the unit was great. I really enjoyed it. You could apply the skills from this unit to a class like Geography. For Geography you can create virtual maps of areas in Photoshop or Illustrator to make a vector-based map. You could use these skills to touch up photos to put up around your house or use them to make a logo, banner or anything for a business.
I really liked the photoshop/ graphic design, video is my favourite but I still enjoyed this unit. I liked the tutorial because we learned lots of new things, even though I ended up doing a really easy one in the end. This unti help a lot with photography because sometimes we work on photoshop. And making posters for other classes. I'm excited for the thext unit and the culminating project.
I really enjoyed the unit of graphic design, I think it is probably one of my favourite units we do all year. I like how creative we can be, and how we get to be the designers of our projects. I would apply this to my other classes with my creativity, I would be able to come up with more ideas that are interesting and be able to refine them better. I think at home I would be able to make online things maybe like a scrapbook or a picture slideshow, I would have the techniques to be able to do this alone. For a buisness I would be able to advertise things better and bring a unique technique to it maybe. Overall I really enjoyed the unit. -Emma K

Some things that we could use our skills for are making advertisements for companies or making a sticker that represents something you like. You can also use it to make things for family events, by making a brochure or pamphlet for the event. You can also use the skills learned to spice up any report with a few added pictures to the reports for English or business class
I thought this was a great experience and it was helpful for me because now that I know more about photoshop and stuff iknow beter was to create a much more profetional like picture to catch peoples eyesrecive a greater outcome in what I make. Also I really enjoyed this unit because I want to get into graphic design when I grow up and move on after highschool and collage.
I enjoyed the graphic design unit alot, even though it frustrated me quite a bit. i could apply this to other classes or in my future if i ever needed tomake posters or signs for a particular subject. It can come in great handy if i ever wanted to edit some pictures to hang up on my walls. or if i ever wanted to get in the photograpghy business it will be a huge help in taking a simple picture and making it great... I thought the unit was pretty good. I now have a good handle on how to use photoshop bette then i did last year. I could apply this to my photo class. We already have done some photoshop and this class helped me understand what to do. I can make tutorials at home now.

Parfit, and I feel she will have some sort of project that I will be able to creat a poster, for an advertisment for example,and I will now have the skills to be able to creat an awesome looking poster. My mom is also trying to get more dog walking clients so I helped her creat a flyer with her information to put up in local stores.
I really enjoyed the work I did in this unit. I gained a good understanding of photoshop and what makes a good design. I can now take a lot better photos because I know what makes a good composition and the rule of thirds helps make photos more interesting. I can also use my knowledge of graphic design to make better graphics for programs I make on the computer and to retouch photos to make them better. In the future I could use this to design an ad for a business(maybe my own the future) because I know how to make it visually appealing and grab people's attention. I can now design and come up with good ideas involving pictures, ads, and photos.
